I haven't had a moment’s peace since the idea for Catfabulous was conceived. Before I forget, let's add best friend, shoulder to cry on, and sister I never had. And last, but definitely not least, Winston's doting Mom. |

The
CAT of Catfabulous is Cathleen Field. She is our Oprah (which I guess
makes me Gayle).
She is multi-talented, having worked in television in front of the
camera reporting everything from news, to health, beauty, and fashion,
while simultaneously serving on the Arizona state board of naturopathic
medical examiners. Whew! Astrology rules this girl’s life, and
as much as I hate to admit it, she's always right. She's also a fashionista
- you know how some people are just born knowing what's going to be "in" before
everyone else does? That's her.
Cheryl
Azoulay (AKA Gayle) became my BFF when we worked together in television
in Los Angeles. She was a “big cheese” at the station;
I was her underling. Of course, always wanting to butter up to the
boss, we became friends. Cheryl is the creative force behind Catfabulous;
as you can see she has the most exquisite taste. Everything she touches
turns into something beautiful. She’s a wiz with the computer,
writing, and everything else in between. Cheryl lives high in the mountains
of Malibu. When she’s not on the phone with Cathleen, she jumps
into her car and drives up and down the canyons of Malibu hoping to
lose cell phone reception to avoid her mean, slave driving boss! I'm
on to you, girlfriend!
Devon,
our ever so talented illustrator, came to Catfabulous through synchronicity.
Devon and Cathleen once knew each other years back, but they had lost
touch. Unable to find Devon, Catfabulous went on a search for an illustrator,
and Devon found Cathleen. Touching story, I know...okay, you can
stop crying now. Devon
is a diverse artist who works in water color, acrylics, and oil. She
has illustrated children’s books, taught art to children, paints
landscapes, portraits, and greeting cards. Art has always been her
life’s
passion, but unlike Cheryl and Cathleen, Devon’s brain operates
on both sides. She holds an Engineering Degree and a Masters in Landscapes
Architecture.
As if all of that wasn’t impressive enough, she’s also
an avid rock climber! Rock on, Devon.
Winston
is our inspiration for this website. Winston lives an uncomplicated
life. He likes to eat, play tug, sleep, snore, and go bye-bye in the
car, only
to fall asleep again once the car starts rolling. Cathleen insists
that Winston is a member of the Mensa society. His goal in life is
to climb
up on Oprah’s couch and tell her his life story! He wants everyone
to know that he’s single and looking for love. If you know of
